Our club is hosting UKPSA L2 Summer Pistol match this coming Saturday (27th June) and an NRA pistol match on the Sunday (28th June)
All our ranges are closed for shooting on those days as there are stages setup for the competition. We will be shooting in the new pit range, the 100, the 25 and 50 and the courses of fire are world class.
However, I have been asked about spectating the matches at the club as not all members wish to compete, but may wish to watch, learn, and see what this is all about or just turn up, have a natter, and eat a burger over a cold drink.
I have spoken to the match director and the board and am pleased to confirm you are MORE THAN WELCOME to attend on either day to spectate the matches.
You may also bring any immediate family to the club who may also wish to watch
Please come along, and bear in mind these simple rules :-
- Wear your club membership badge clearly and keep your guests with you.
- Stay behind the red and white tape – Every range has a spectator’s area.
- Eye protection – wrap around glasses please – we have paper and steel targets on multiple ranges as we will be shooting .22 and revolvers.
- ITS HOT – Bring drinks, sunscreen and a hat. We do have first Aid and a Defib on site
- Finally – Enjoy yourself, we really look forward to seeing you. Prize giving and awards will be approx 3-5pm on Saturday.
We will have the most attended Level 2 pistol match in the country this year, and it will be amazing to see so many world class shooters who have travelled from all over the UK to compete.
