Welcome to the website of Headley Park Rifle & Pistol Club

The history of HPR & PC dates back to the 1960's when the club was created by our founding member Bill Meaker. Sadly, Bill passed away many years ago, but those who still remember him will not forget the encouragement he gave to those who were just entering the world of shooting sports.

We see ourselves as a friendly group, but we also welcome all competitive types, many of our club members having competed very successfully at both National Squad and International levels.

Our club holds monthly competitions which include Action Rifle, Gallery Rifle, Action Revolver, Target Revolver, Practical Pistol, Historic Pistol, Full Bore Rifle (Off range), Small Bore Rifle, Western Action, The Plainsman, Rummy, Sporting Clays (Twice Monthly), a club limited version of Target Shotgun and Modern 3 gun.

The club's ranges are situated at Picketts Hill, Sleaford, Bordon, Hants, GU35 8TE.
Bisley, the 'Home of Target Shooting' is less than 10 miles away from our ranges.

We have four outdoor ranges which are available to our members over 360 days of the year :

Range 1
100 yards with covered firing points, pistol calibres as permitted by the Range Safety Certificate.
Range 2
50 metre with covered firing points, pistol calibres as permitted by the Range Safety Certificate.
Range 3
25 metre with covered firing points, pistol calibres as permitted by the Range Safety Certificate.
Range 4
Training range. (Conditions apply), pistol calibres as permitted by the Range Safety Certificate.
(the Training range is also used twice monthly by our Sporting Clays section)
